Our therapy sessions using our own Underwater Threadmill provides a new dimension to the treatment and rehabilitation of animals.

The water can provide bouyancy or resistance to movement that can be invaluable in these treatments.

Over the past 18 months, we have designed and developed our own Underwater Treadmill System with unique features that can used to help your animal recover from operation or injury, and is also invaluable in the treatment of animal obesity.

We can provide a solution for all sizes of dog with one of our larger patients shown the the video below:

The water provideds bouyancy which reduces the weight  bearing.  This allows the joints to move more freely even in arthritic and painful conditions.

The resistance of the the water means the dog has to work harder to push its leg through the wate.  In so doing muscle builds up and this in turn supports the joints.

The Under Water Treadmill is also useful for over weight patients that have been unable to exercise.  The water takes the weight off the joints but the resistance helps burn more calories
