Here at Physio-vet specialise in dog physiotherapy and rehabilitation. We have a strong emphasis on the Team approach.
The Team is headed by David Prydie, a vet with over 30 years experience. David has specialist qualifiction in canine orthopaedics and physiotherapy. David founded Physio-vet in 2010 to focus on physiotherapy techniques for not only post operative cases but also arthric patients and the canine athlete. David has lectured at national, international and world conferences and has been commissioned to write a book on canine physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. He has also headed up the rehab team at Fitzpatrick Referrals (The Bionic Vet,) one of the worlds most advanced canine facilities.
Isobel (Izzy) Foden is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 10 years experience working on people. Izzy has also completed a Masters degree at London Vet College on physiotherapy in animals.
Lydia Critchlow is a qualified McTimmoney practioner as well as running Dig It Dogs. Dig It Dogs is a training club with puppy classes, obedience, agility, fly ball and working trials classes.
Lorna Holmes is David’s wife and is also responsible for the running and administration of the business.
Our newest team members are Registered Veterinary Nurses, Carly Woodward and Lizzie Thundercliffe. Both our nurses are particularly interested in physiotherapy and rehab, nutrition and weight clinics. Lizzie also takes care of insurance and accounts, and Carly, who has her own agility and therapy dogs, also manages our social media.
