Physio-Vet, specialists in the treatment and fitness of the canine athlete are pleased to announce dates of their MOT Clinic days for Competition Dogs!

Pre-Competition Check Up with Rehabilitation Specialist Vet and ACPAT Physiotherapist. These dates are a monthly Clinic held on Saturday’s after clinic – from 2pm.

NOTE: Please bring the questionnaire with you about your dogs history – This really helps the Vet and Physiotherapist to build a case history. Have any niggling issues or things that could worry you checked out by the best!!

About David..

David graduated from Glasgow veterinary school in 1981 and obtained his certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in 1991. David has worked in orthopaedic referral practice in England and Scotland. In 2009 David obtained his Certificate in Canine Rehabilitation from The Canine Rehabilitation Institute, an organisation affiliated to Colorado Veterinary School. David is on the committee of The British Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Association.

About Isobel..

Isobel is a qualified, chartered human and animal physiotherapist. Isobel qualified in 2003 as a human physiotherapist and gained her MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2009. Isobel has worked in various NHS hospitals and community settings as well as running a private physiotherapy company. Isobel specialises in the treatment of small animals in her veterinary capacity.

What will the Appointment Involve?

For your dog:
Please bring with you the questionnaire about your dogs history. If you have not received one please email Lorna@physio-vet.co.uk

  • First of all we will watch your dog move in straight lines and circles for a gait analysis out side the Clinic.
  • Then come inside the Clinic for an assessment of your dog for soft tissue or musculoskeletal problems.
  • You can bring treats or a toy to help your dog settle in.
  • You will be given aftercare advice, specific stretches and exercises and a fitness programme for your dog.
